As a prominent business & employer in the local community, we at Rock Cabs are proud to be

associated with the successful Blackrock Tidy Towns Committee. We recently presented the

Tidy Towns Committee with their new van that is a welcome site around the village on litter patrols

as part of their ongoin litter management strategy.

Blackrock Tidy Towns recently took possession of their new van

which was presented to them by local taxi firm Rock Cabs. 

The Tidy Towns van is a regular sight around the village, used mainly

on litter patrols and driven by personnel from The Fane Community Employment Scheme. 

“We are very grateful to Rock Cabs for the new van” said Tidy Towns chairman John Horan.

“Our old one was on its last legs, but we didn’t have the finances ourselves to acquire a replacement. 

It has become an essential part of our litter management plan for Blackrock and now,

thanks to Rock Cabs, we are in a position to continue our work in keeping the village litter free” he said.
